Greeks come together after storm
The whole east coast has been wiped away by one of the worst storms in history, Hurricane Sandy. The storm started south of Atlantic City and made it's way up the east coast. Many homes and lives were effected from this storm. In Bloomsburg, many students went home to be with their families during the storm, and classes were cancelled. Bloomsburg is looking for volunteers to help recover from the storm, and many students have been volunteering to help. Greek organizations have been coming together to help families recover. " This is such a tragedy and we really want to help. " said Lori Magowan, Alpha Sigma Tau. A lot of greeks are also coming together to help each other's families by sending canned goods, and donating clothes or anything they have. Although the storm was devastating, the greeks see it as an opportunity to come together and help the community. If you want to volunteer, you can check the Bloomsburg website and find more information.
